What’s the Story?

So what’s been going on? What’s the story? I’m going to get there. But first, leave a comment, for those that are still hanging in there with this blog, and describe what or why I took this picture just a week or so ago.
Hints: It is relative to the theme of this blog, Life and Living from Phoenix, and it was a FIRST for me. What do ya think?
It was a cool time … ooops, that’s a hint too.

Ok, so here’s the story — First, STEVE IS DISQUALIFIED!! I was talking to him at the time of this picture and told him what I was doing!
Yes, I was at the Arizona Diamondbacks’ baseball game. The unique thing about it or First for me was that it was the first major league game I have attended in AIR CONDITIONING! It’s a great example of the unique living here in the desert. Game time temps outside were about 107. Inside was a cool and comfortable 78 or so. Chase Field as it is called, has a roof that can be opened and closed. And in that picture is the AC system. Now that is a cooling system! Also notice up toward the top is a guy with a team shirt on. (red one) We won on this night. But since then, the Diamondbacks have been dreadful.

Tropicana Field in St. Pete is also air conditioned. It was very strange for me the first time I went to a ball game. They have a great cigar bar there also !

Of course the Astrodome in Houston has been AC’d since 1964.

Humidity trumps dry heat!
Glad you enjoyed the game!
