Another Beginning
It has been 76 days since I last entered a blog post. That was September 30th! I can’t begin to tell you about all that has developed. The last post was showing what I found to be a humorous bumper sticker about the state of the approaching election.
So, since the end of September, I began a masters program, the economy has tanked, we have a new President, life in Phoenix has cooled considerably, life north of Phoenix has frozen over (would that mean you all live in….naw).
Where does one start when beginning again? As I have been wrestling with this, here is what I have decided. When I began the blog, I did so with a number of goals in mind. I began with a commitment to post for 40 consecutive days. I only missed one day during that time. I made a commitment to blog for one year as well. I am just 74 days away from that anniversary.
Blogging is about communication, developing community, and consistency. I so appreciate those who had come to take time to read about life from Phoenix and perspectives I find significant. I appreciated your comments. With that said, I am re-committing to my initial goals for the blog. In the next 30 days I plan to do some catching up on topics, events, and reflections on the past 76 days as well as the past year. My goal is to write a minimum of 40 significant posts in that time. This means there will be days there will be multiple entries.
Life from Phoenix is on its way back.
